Selfless life

October 4, 2010

The life that lets a figure remain

A gift from the unknown that does not blame

Not for conquer nor manipulation

It is the place, movement and space

The thoughts within can change its shape

From snowflake love to rusted hate

To clean and slake the soul till quenched

It is the source to return and rest

The rage and flame induce fear indeed

As it burns away obstacles and needs

Skillful wisdom moves and melts through

The frozen life, left unmelted, unmoved

My truest mother with a heart for me

her hues of depth embrace and set free

With open arms she accepts my tension

       Selfless mother, selfless friend

Amazing piece! Love the flow of the words.

    These were my favorite lines:
“The rage and flame induce fear indeed
As it burns away obstacles and needs
Skillful wisdom moves and melts through
The frozen life, left unmelted, unmoved “
