Inspired by your words (and the fact that I lived in eastern Kentucky once upon a time):
Kentucky
down in the hollers
sweet ‘taters
At the Table
aaahh….hollers. I was in Louisville.
anything that starts with kentucky is “gold thumbs” to me…makes me smile
Sounds like something special! I’ve only ever skimmed past Kentucky on my way south. Maybe I’ll detour next time 🙂
Gotta give Kentucky a go. Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Are you from Kentucky? my husbands family is from Poole Ky near the Indiana border.
Acually from Chicago and living back here now, but I spent a few years living in Kentucky….Ft. Campbell KY/TN(western kentucky border) and the last three years in Louisville. I miss it very much
Ah my husbands family lives in a tiny town, now I have family in Franklin Park a burb in Chicago…. small small world!
I’m in Alsip, a south suburb not far from Franklin Park.
what a cute haiku… sounds fun to me 🙂

fun one,
I love kentucky chicken when I first came to the U. S.
I like the idea of smiling food…happy as it heads straight for the hips!
